Carholme Road and A46/A57 Roundabout Approaches

Carholme Road works are from Nelson Street to A57 Saxilby Road. As part of the proposed works there will be multiple highway assets affected such as Civils, Drainage, Footways, Kerbs, Realignment, Replacement of pavement layers and surface course and Carriageway Markings.

The location of the works are along one of the main routes within the city centre of Lincoln. The works include multiple side roads which are accesses off Carholme Road.

The Works also include sections of A57 Saxilby Road and A46 Westbound Dual Carriageway Carholme Roundabout. The scheme includes resurfacing, along with reapplying the high friction surfacing on the A46 approach. Additionally, minor kerb maintenance is required on the transitional curve of the A46 approach.

The proposed works also include the management and implementation of the traffic management required to complete the works.
