Description

The scope of the new agreement is to allow for the design, installation, configuration, testing and commissioning of Systems Integration software such as Design of SCADA/PLC/HMI Solutions and SCADA/PLC/HMI Upgrades which allows the United Utilities (UU) to control the automation on site while providing standardisation and consistency on our sites ensuring that all software is created and amended in line with our standards and specifications.

BT225 - Grants Management System

Westminster City Council (WCC) has invested heavily in the Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) through grants alone. We have committed in our Voluntary and Community Sector Investment Strategy (2023-2028) to investing in capacity building for the VCS, improving the way we measure impact and investing in processes and systems to ensure we have clear, consistent, and accessible council processes. In support of this work, we are commissioning a grants management platform for a 3-year pilot (a 2-year contract with 1-year optional extension) to assess whether the management platform supports the Council with the following key objectives: • To improve the experience for grant applicants, ensuring there is a consistent approach for all grant streams, and that they don’t have to re-input the same information multiple times when applying for grants. • To provide a tool for grant managers to manage the end-to-end grant application, award and monitoring process - moving away from a reliance on Microsoft Applications (such as Word, Forms, Outlook and Excel) to streamline the process to be more efficient with less room for human error. • To improve consistency across Council in the way grants are managed, including through an option to use consistent application and monitoring templates where appropriate.

Contracts for Innovation: NSpOC BOREALIS Algorithm Development

Eligible organisations can apply for up to £100,000, excluding VAT, to research and develop initial proof of concepts for algorithms and similar solutions that directly improve the quality of data processing being undertaken within the BOREALIS system, contributing to enhanced analysis capabilities within NSpOC. UKSA is likely to award multiple Contracts that meet its requirements within this competition, and further competitions may be opened subsequently to those who are successful within this competition for further development work on identified solutions. This funding is from the UK Space Agency only and applicants should note this competition is wholly run and administered by the UK Space Agency. Applicants should note that as BOREALIS is a sovereign UK capability and this work is to develop solutions that eventually can be deployed into use, this competition is restricted to UK registered companies on grounds of national security. This notice relates to the intended procurement for a contract which is an exempted contract under s 3(6) and Schedule 2, Part 2 (Subject-matter exempted contracts), paragraph 22 (Research and Development Services) of the Procurement Act 2023 (the 'Act').
