Description

Warwickshire County Council has a statutory requirement to carry out fire risk assessments every three years for all operational buildings. In addition, Warwickshire County Council also provides traded services for fire risk assessments with Warwickshire and neighbouring counties' schools and academies.

Warwickshire County Council may also seek fire strategy consultancy support and training support through this procurement.

The initial contract term will be for 3 years however the Council reserves the right to extend the contract by further periods not exceeding 36 months (36 months being the maximum available extension period) at the discretion of the Council.

The estimated value of the Contract is expected to be circa £300,000 over the life of the Contract. However, should unexpected circumstances / demand arise, this value could increase to circa £500,000 over the life of the Contract. These figures are estimates provided in good faith.

Fire Suppression System for Caister Waste Transfer Station

Norfolk County Council is seeking to let a contract for the provision of Fire Prevention Services for Caister Waste Transfer Station including a fully monitored fire suppression system. The expected contract commencement date is 13 August 2025. The installation completion date for phase 1 is as soon as possible but by no later than 31 January 2026. November 2022 Email exchange and a meeting with a company providing fire protection systems. This followed advise from site operators already using this type of system. July 2022 Meeting with a company installing fire fighting systems. The information provided at these events was used to explore our options on what is available in the market place and help inform our specification of requirements.

Mosscare St Vincent's Housing Group - or MSV for short, are a social landlord working across the Northwest of England. We own and manage almost 9,000 homes in Greater Manchester, Lancashire and West Yorkshire. Our ethos and values place us right at the heart of communities, working with customers to deliver excellent landlord services and provide customers with a warm, safe home. MSV invites organisations to submit a request to participate in order to establish a DPS of contractors to provide a wide range of servicing including but not limited to repairs and maintenance, cyclical servicing, mechanical and electrical services and capital works. Categories are listed within this notice and further detail of minimum requirements for each category can be found within the tender documentation. Other services that are closely linked to the categories listed may be procured through the DPS from time to time to meet the requirements of MSV. The deadline for initial requests to participate is 5:00pm 28th October 2024. For clarity evaluation of bidder submissions during the initial set up of the DPS will take place following the deadline for initial RTP submissions. Once all bidders who submitted during the initial set up are advised of the outcome of their RFP submission, the DPS will officially commence. The DPS will remain open for the full duration to allow for additional requests to participate.
