Description

North Tyneside Council are seeking an accommodation-based respite service for adults with a Learning Disability / Autism and Complex Health needs. 
Annual approximate spend £790,000
Service will be delivered from a purpose-built respite centre and any other additional premises identified by the Local Authority.  
Service will ensure there is suitable carer respite for people who need it.

An element of the Vision is that communities are welcoming and supportive, especially of those most in need, and people feel able to contribute to community life. Surrey County Council have reviewed the current community-based services that support people with eligible social care needs to live active, full lives, within their communities. They identified needs for the provision of a range of outcomes-based community services that support people with their everyday life skills. It is anticipated that the opportunity will be published via the council tender platform late 2025. The council will shortly publish a Preliminary Market Engagement Notice UK2. Once the procurement process is in a position to advertise the contract opportunity, the council will publish a Tender Notice UK4.
