Review & Redevelopment of Media Initiative for Children - The Respecting Difference Programme.

As part of the ASPIRE Shared Learning Project, the Media Initiative's materials will be refreshed, updated, and redesigned to ensure their continued relevance and effectiveness for a new generation of children and educators in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. The ASPIRE Project is a shared education initiative, funded through PEACEPLUS, and aimed at providing direct and sustained contact between children from all backgrounds. The tender specifically requires a comprehensive review and redesign of the existing programme material currently used for early years children. This process will involve evaluating the current content, identifying areas for improvement and updating material to ensure it aligns with recent thinking in relation to educational and child developmental needs. Given the cross-border nature of the ASPIRE project, it is also crucial that the refreshed MIFC programme also aligns with relevant curricula in the Republic of Ireland. The overall objective of this tender is to create a modern, versatile programme that is engaging and will support early learning outcomes for the settings. The redesigned material should incorporate interactive, as well as physical, elements. This should foster creativity and interaction from the children. The final product should be supportive and easy for the stakeholders to implement and support consistency in program delivery across different children's abilities.

Gym Equipment - Stapleford Pavilion

Nottinghamshire County Council ("the Council") on behalf of Broxtowe Borough Council is seeking competitive quotes for provision of exercise equipment for the gym setting in the new Stapleford Community Pavilion (SCP). The centre will be operated by Liberty Leisure Limited (LLL) on behalf of Broxtowe Borough Council. Stapleford Community Pavilion (SCP) is currently under construction and due for completion later in 2025. It will replace the existing sports pavilion on the open space at Hickings Lane, Stapleford. Supported by the Local Towns Fund, Levelling up, Football Association Lionesses Futures Fund and Broxtowe Borough Council the venue will be at the heart of the Stapleford community which will be operated by Liberty Leisure Limited (the Customer). Liberty Leisure Limited is a not-for-profit Company owned by Broxtowe Borough Council with the responsibility for supporting the Council to improve the Health & Wellbeing of the community through leisure activities. The fitness facility if being offered to: • Provide additional exercise opportunities to the community • Enhance the health related exercise provision that can be offered • Bring users in to the Stapleford Pavilion The fitness facility will utilise one of the smaller multi-use rooms for a small gym that can cater for all abilities and ages. Due to the size of the facility it would not be financially viable to staff the gym for the majority of the time so it must be self-managing. Based on this the proposed equipment must be able to be utilised simply and provide an induction, programme and directions for use without a member of staff. To achieve this requires a move away from traditional gym equipment to ones that are able to induct users and allow for safe and effective use with minimal input from staff. The equipment must be technologically driven and allow customers to be able to login to the equipment and complete a tailored workout that can be automatically prescribed to them based on their preferences. We are looking for a provider who will take an innovative approach to the gym set-up and offer added value. All associated costs must be included in the price submitted. Broxtowe Borough Council require a Single Supplier to carry out this work, use of sub contractors is allowed but a list must be provided and they would have to meet the criteria as set out in the specification.
