Description

Derbyshire County Council requires the provision of Security Guarding Services at Elvaston Castle Country Park, Borrowash Road, Elvaston, Derbyshire, DE72 3EP.
A Security Service is required that can provide a safe and secure environment at Elvaston Castle Country Park and deliver a proactive level of security to protect the staff, property and visitors to the Country Park.
The contract will be for 1 year plus possible extensions of three 12-month periods up to a maximum of 4 years. The overall value of the contract is estimated as £400,000.
Bidders are advised to visit the Elvaston Castle Country Park to acquaint themselves with the layouts and to gain an understanding of how the guarding relates to and integrates with the operation. The majority of the site is publically accessible and requests to visit site should be made via the tendering portal.

The contract is for an initial period of three (3) years, with an option to extend for a further two (2) years on a yearly basis (3 +1+1) subject to an annual review and satisfactory performance in accordance with the Council's business requirements. Any proposed extension to the contract will be agreed in writing between the Council and the supplier. The budget for this contract is estimated in the region of £65,000 to £90,000 per annum (excluding VAT) in its entirety. Please note: The Council reserves the right to reject any submissions that are over budget without further evaluation.
