Description

The wetland at RSPB Pulborough Brooks has potential to be a haven for breeding waders and wildfowl. However, there is little control over water on the site. This means that during flood events in winter, water cannot leave site quickly enough. However, when the water levels do drop, they fall too far, and water becomes scarce.

By installing 4 new hydrological structures, water control can be regained across the site to create ideal habitat for the flora and fauna found on the SSSI.

Access around site is also very difficult which hinders management. Upgrading tracks so they are solid will make management possible in areas that are sometimes inaccessible.

Timber Lamination Jig for HMSV Project

The purpose of this Planned Procurement Notice (PPN) is to alert potential suppliers to an opportunity to fabricate a large dimension timber lamination jig for the production of planks for conservation of HMS Victory. The aim of the HMS Victory Conservation Programme is to deliver a fully conserved ship, able to survive in an open environment for the next 50 years without major work beyond a programme of planned maintenance. The NMRN is seeking a fabrication contractor to produce a lamination jig for the production of large dimension timber elements for use in the conservation of HMS Victory's hull. The PPN notice contains Appendix 1 which has concept images of the proposed lamination jig which have been produced by shipwrights based on current known requirements, previous experience and the constraints of the conservation workshops in the Historic Dockyard. Copthorne Recreation Ground Rejuvenation Project

Worth Parish Council (WPC) invites tenders for "Contract E: Civils Package 2" at Copthorne Recreation Ground on Copthorne Bank. The Copthorne Recreation Ground Rejuvenation Project involves the installation of a new Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA), an extended and improved playground, a new car park, suitable drainage, paving, pathways and landscaping. A tender process for the MUGA and Playground has already been completed and preferred suppliers identified. The scope of the works in Contact E: Civils Package 2 is the subject of this tender, with the intention of identifying one preferred supplier to carry out all works outlined below. The work is to take place on land owned by Worth Parish Council (the Council). Tenders should be based on the details included in the following document bundle: a.
