Description

As part of the BFI 2033 strategy, the BFI allocated £1.8 million to the Research and Statistics Fund (‘the Fund’) for the period 2023-2026. Working with the industry-led Research Advisory Group, and through the creation of independent, trusted and rigorous evidence - including bespoke commissioned research - the Fund addresses industry knowledge gaps, supports policymaking, and gives insight into how independent and cultural organisations can adapt and thrive. All data and research generated is shared publicly.
We are piloting a new approach that allows the Fund to be more responsive to industry need to have information quickly on a range of different topics. The deliverables will be used to influence policy and strategically guide the sector. It is especially relevant at a time when there is volatility in business models and technological trends, and a fast-changing political landscape.

POW-FTS-59118 - Consultation Assurance

Powys Teaching Health Board is looking to procure specialist support for engagement and consultation quality assurance for Better Together. The health board is keen to engage with an organisation with proven experience of advising on quality assurance for engagement and consultation around transforming health services in Wales. Discussions including engagement and/or consultation regarding the future shape of health services can publicly and politically sensitive, and we are therefore seeking to engage specialist support to advise on quality assurance for the consultation process, with a specific focus on the key consultation risk areas. We currently anticipate a rolling programme of service reviews over the coming years. Reviews will be launched periodically (e.g. every 6-9 months) each focusing on a specific service area (e.g. community model with mental health, diagnostics & planned care, women & children’s). The reviews will provide an opportunity to work with PTHB staff, primary care, patients and the public, and partner organisations to understand the opportunities & challenges for each service area, and to shape the future of safe, quality services for Powys. Please see Information for Bidders document on the Bravo Solutions portal for further details. Powys Teaching Health Board recognises the importance of the Welsh language to the communities it serves. Consequently, responses to an invitation to quote or tender will be accepted in Welsh as well as English. However, please note that tender responses submitted only in Welsh will be translated by the Trust into English before consideration. Those involved in translating the document will be barred from taking decisions on awarding tenders. The tender will be awarded based on 30% cost & 70% quality as detailed in the ITT document. Please note that the tender closing date is 30/05/2025 at midday and any late submissions will not be considered.
