T25-039ENV Deep Cleaning of City, Town, and Village Centre Paved Surfacing

Derry City and Strabane District Council wish to appoint a suitably experienced and competent industrial cleaning contractor to undertake the deep cleansing of paved surfaces including the Public Realm Chinese granite paved surfacing, other paved surfacing within the Derry City Centre, Strabane Town Centre and paving in Castlederg, Sion Mills and Newtownstewart. The contractor will be required to deep clean the surfaces on a number of occasions during the year ranging from 1 to 6 occasions depending on the cleanliness levels required all as directed by Contract Manager. Waste Management and Recycling

Leighton-Linslade Town Council wishes to appoint a waste management and recycling provider who has recycling capabilities to maximise the amount of recycling from our activities associated with parks management, cemetery management, office facilities, pavilions and for future sites as and when required. Please complete the attached pre-qualification questionnaire to allow the Town Council to shortlist providers to a competitive quotation stage. The deadline for pre-qualification submissions is 11am on Friday 16 May 2025. Thereafter, evaluation will be based on price, estimated recycling rates and energy recovery. Shortlisted providers will be required to attend a meeting of the Grounds and Environment Committee on 9 June 2025 (7.30pm) where a presentation is to be given setting out your environmental credentials and how you would responsibly treat waste generated from this contract to ensure that as close to 100% is diverted from landfill. A preferred supplier recommendation from the Grounds and Environment Committee will be made to Council at its meeting to be held 30 June 2025. Contract to commence on 7 October 2025 for a five year period.

Procurement for the provision of waste composition analysis services to West London Waste Authority

Procurement of a multi-season Waste Composition Analysis project on behalf of West London Waste Authority (WLWA). Design and deliver three WCA studies; one study for each season (summer 2025, spring 2026, and winter 2026/7) with each season's sample spaced approximately nine months apart, analysing residual waste collected from kerbside and communal properties within each of WLWA six boroughs of Brent, Ealing, Harrow, Hillingdon, Hounslow and Richmond Upon Thames. Project will involve provision of individual reports for each borough, as well as a combined report for WLWA for each season's WCA.
