Description

Sutton Housing Partnership (SHP)  wishes to set up a Panel  for  Damp & Mould Works and Strategic Complex Voids across 2 LOTS to  support the SHP repairs team, working in partnership to deliver excellent service to residents. There could be up to five contactors on each panel.\r
\r
This is an opportunity  to work with the SHP repairs team, delivering higher value complex repairs that would not be picked as routine reactive and void works.  This would include repairs to tenants homes as well as to communal areas.\r

SHP are seeking multi-trade contractors to support its delivery for the following works:\r

Damp & Mould Works (Lot 1)\r
Strategic Complex Voids (Lot 2)\r
\r
Successful contractors will be appointed to a panel  for a period of three years, subject to satisfactory performance. \r
\r
The procurement is being run by the London Borough of Sutton on behalf of Sutton Housing Partnership.  \r

Electrical Switchgear & Associated Cabling

The tender is for the installation of a new bespoke made switch panel to he installed within the same room, but on the opposite wall to limit downtime to the site. There are 5 paper lead cables that require to be replaced as part of these works, to the distribution board adjacent the main hall, within main kitchen and all three floors on the oc corridor. These cables will run a mixture of internal and external on dedicated cable management. The local distribution within the main kitchen will be partly replaced as part of the works along with mains isolation within the oc corridor. The new cabling will be installed along with the switchboard all ready for changeover over limiting downtime. The changeover will require a temporary 30kv generator to ensure the 2 x 1phase distribution boards within the main server room are kelp fully operational before during and after the switchover with the only allowance for downtime at a weekend for installation of the temporary generator and then removal once the switchboard is energised and fully tested and functioning, the contractor shall allow for all the generator hire and running cost within his scheme of works. The contractor shall allow for all the existing retained cables to be transferred and altered to suite the new switch panel and testing with all rectifications as required to provide a complete grade a test certificate once the works are completed.

Contract for Electrical works at Sketty park

Swansea Council intends to Complete EWI, Roofing& Associated Works at 28 properties in the Sketty park area. Properties within regeneration scheme are tenanted 2/3 Bed semi-detached properties and 2 storey flats and 3 storey block of flats. External wall fabric is traditional cavity wall construction made up of an internal blockwork skin, 50mm cavity and a pebble dashed blockwork / brickwork external façade. For Swansea council to achieve this, it will be required by the electrical subcontractor to remove and make safe any electrical accessories from the externals and reinstate once works have been completed. Any properties that at present don’t have external lighting will require newly installed cabling, containment, light fittings and any other items for a complete installation.

Electrical Works and Associated Services Framework Agreement

The University of Edinburgh will shortly be going out to tender via an Open Procedure to appoint suppliers to a Framework Agreement (incorporating a Measured Term Contract) for the provision of Electrical Works and Associated Services to service the University of Edinburgh's Estate of approximately 550 varied buildings in Edinburgh and Midlothian, including all buildings and other property owned, occupied or otherwise used by the University of Edinburgh. The Framework is tendered on behalf of the University of Edinburgh and all University of Edinburgh Subsidiary Companies. Any and all of the University of Edinburgh’s Subsidiary Companies may access and utilise this Framework at any time during the life of the agreement. The framework agreement will operate under the SBCC Framework Agreement for use in Scotland (FA/Scot) 2014 Edition and all call-offs/contracts awarded under the framework will operate under the SBCC Measured Term Contract for use in Scotland (MTC/Scot) 2019 Edition, or, the NEC 4 Contract (where applicable). The next generation Agreement will cover the provision of reactive electrical services maintenance and repairs, planned small works and associated builder’s work in connection with electrical work only. As required under CDM 2015, the Provider(s) is responsible for the co-ordination, supervision and administration of the Works, including all sub contracts. The Provider shall arrange and monitor a programme with each sub-contractor, supplier, local authority and statutory undertaker, and obtain and supply information as necessary for the co-ordination of the work. For the purposes of this Framework Agreement the University of Edinburgh estate will be divided into two areas or Lots outlined below. Lot 1 – Science & Engineering (Kings Buildings) and Medical & Veterinary Sciences Lot 2 – Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences, Accommodation, Catering and Events (ACE) and Professional Services. Suppliers will be allowed to bid for any number of Lots and may be awarded onto one or both Lots, however, to reduce dependency on the first ranked supplier, a supplier may only be ranked first in one of the Lots and consideration will be given to the supplier’s Lot preference. The four (4) highest scoring suppliers will be invited on to each of the Lots. The service requirements are the same in each Lot and both Lots will have the same quality and price questions and weightings. In the event a supplier is ranked first in both Lots, consideration will be given to the first ranked supplier’s preferred Lot. The second ranked supplier in the remaining Lot will be allocated first ranking. The Framework Agreement will be in place for an initial term of 2 years, with two options to extend for periods of 1-year each (2+1+1). The estimated total contract value is based on forecast spend across both Lots over a 4 year period.
