Description

Provision of planned and reactive intersite liquid sludge tankering, planned and reactive intersite raw sludge cake transfer, and onsite tankering services such as wet well cleaning, tank cleaning, tank emptying, jetting, lagoon cleaning, hazardous waste disposal, chemical disposal, and emergency incident response including street works.
Other services include General waste collection and disposal, planned and reactive grit and screenings collection and disposal, fly tipping & hazardous waste collection and disposal, reactive response to and management of pollution events etc.
Additionally, the marketing, sale, transport and, disposal of digested sewage sludge cake (Biosolids) is included.
Elements of the services are required 24 hours, 7 days a week.
Southern Water has sites across Sussex, Hampshire, Kent and the Isle of Wight.

Operation of Barrowell Green Reuse and Recycling Centre for The London Borough of Enfield

The London Borough of Enfield is inviting potential Suppliers to submit tender responses to provide recycling and reuse services for Enfield residents at the Barrowell Green Recycling Centre. This is with a view of expanding from the current service from household waste to potentially including the ability for trade and commercial vehicles to use the site. As such, the service will be split into 2 Lots. Suppliers are required to submit responses for both Lots in order to be considered for this opportunity. The Council will award to either Lot 1 or Lot 2, not both. Lot 1 Operate the Barrowell Green site as a recycling and reuse centre (RRC) for household waste only with permits in place for vans and other vehicles as is the current model of service delivery. Lot 2 Operate the Barrowell Green site as a recycling and reuse centre (RRC) for both Commercial and Household Waste. To note: Lot 2 has an estimated value of £0 as this approach will be working towards a cost neutral position for the Authority. The duration of the Contract will be a fixed term of 5 years, with the option of a 2 year extension period. Please note: The Authority held site visit days at the Barrowell Green Recycling Centre on the 16th and 17th April 2025. This procurement process is being undertaken using the electronic tendering system, 'Atamis' (https://londonboroughofenfield.my.site.com) The procurement is being run as a one stage Open Process under the Procurement Act 2023. Suppliers will need to register an interest on Atamis via the aforementioned link and submit a tender submission no later than 12:00 Noon on Friday 6th June 2025 to participate and registration is free. Tender submissions cannot be uploaded after the return deadline. Suppliers must also be registered on the central digital platform (CDP) using the Find a Tender Portal and ensure their core supplier information is up-to-date and accurate. Management and Operation of Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRC)

This contract is being led by Gateshead Council on behalf of Gateshead Council, South Tyneside Council and Sunderland City Council (the Partner Authorities), who have formed the South Tyne & Wear Waste Management Partnership (STWWMP), for the provision of a Service for the Management and Operation of Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs) in Gateshead, South Tyneside and Sunderland. The Borough Council of Gateshead shall enter into back-to-back contractual arrangements with its partner authorities to pass down the relevant provisions of this Contract/Tender ("the Authority Contracts"). The Authority Contracts shall be implemented by the Borough Council of Gateshead as lead authority for the partner authorities under the Contract for and on behalf of itself and the partner authorities.
