Description

Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced multi-disciplinary consultancy to prepare a Design Code for the Borough and for the consultant's team to assist the Councils Planning Policy team in taking this through as a Supplementary Plan The team would be expected to comprise of, but not limited to, the following specialisms, urban design, planning, architecture, landscape, ecology, transport, heritage and consultation/event specialists. A fixed fee proposal is required to carry out the Design Code Supplementary Plan.  Sandwell Council have allocated up to £250,000 net of VAT for provision of these services and the contract period will be for 19 months starting 21st March 2025 to 21st October 2026. However, this information is intended to assist with the preparation of your bid. The Council does not bind itself to this or any other figure and is not a guarantee of business which may be generated from this contract.

North Hertfordshire District Council is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experience Consultant to undertake a Strategic Housing Market Assessment (SHMA). The primary objective of the SHMA is to provide a robust and comprehensive evidence base to support the emerging Local Plan. The SHMA must be consistent with requirements set out in the Government’s National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) and Planning Practice Guidance (PPG) and any updates as appropriate. The Consultants may optionally be required to attend the Examination in Public.
