This is a contract award notice and is intended to provide notice of NHS Mid and South Essex Integrated Care Board (herein "the Authority")'s intention to award a contract to deliver the
provision of Admission Prevention & Early Discharge Service (APED) service for Mid and South Essex to the patients within Mid and South Essex's geographical footprint. The contract will be for 12 months from 1st April 2025 - 31st March 2026 . The aggregate contract value is forecasted at £359,034.

NHS Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board NHS Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board is inviting suitably qualified and experienced providers to submit competitive bids for the provision of Therapeutic support for survivors of sexual abuse or violence.<br/><br/>The aim of the service is to provide tailored and evidence-based specialist therapeutic support and treatment to survivors of sexual abuse and violence in Norfolk and Waveney.<br/><br/>This procurement is subject to the following lots <br/><br/>Lot 1 - Therapeutic support for survivors of sexual abuse or violence - Aims to provide tailored and evidence-based specialist therapeutic support and treatment to survivors of sexual abuse and violence in Norfolk and Waveney.<br/><br/>This contract will be procured on the basis of an initial 3-year contract period, with an option to extend for a further 2-years (5-years in total) subject to Commissioner discretion and requirements.<br/><br/>Lot 1 has an initial annual contract value of £225,000, £675,000 over the three year contract term and £1,125,000 over the maximum 5 year contract term. <br/><br/>An additional £150,000.00 per year may be available at the discretion of the ICB depending on demand and financial availability – this is not a guaranteed available sum. <br/><br/>Lot 2 - Support for families and carers of survivors of sexual abuse or violence - Aims to improve outcomes for survivors of sexual assault or violence by offering direct support to their families/carers and to measure demand and need of this cohort which is currently unknown in Norfolk and Waveney. <br/><br/>This contract will be procured on the basis of an initial 2-year contract period to pilot the service, with an option to extend for a further 2-years (4 years in total) subject to Commissioner discretion and requirements.<br/><br/>Lot 2 has an initial annual contract value of £25,000. The total over the two year contract term is £50,000 and £100,000 over the maximum 4 year contract period. <br/><br/>An additional £100,000.00 per year may be available at the discretion of the ICB depending on demand and financial availability – this is not a guaranteed available sum. <br/><br/>The successful Provider for each lot is expected to be fully operational, providing services from 1st April 2026.

TAMESIDE AND OLDHAM BREASTFEEDING PEER SUPPORT SERVICE

There is overwhelming evidence that proves breastfeeding provides substantial health and wellbeing benefits for mothers and babies which are experienced well beyond the period of breastfeeding itself. As well as contributing significantly to reducing health inequalities, benefits of breastfeeding can be categorised to the following: • Infant health: Breastfeeding protects children from a vast range of illnesses including infection, diabetes, asthma, heart disease and obesity, as well as cot death (sudden infant death syndrome). • Maternal health: Breastfeeding protects mothers from breast and ovarian cancers and heart disease. • Relationship-building: Breastfeeding supports the mother-baby attachment and relationship and the mental health of both baby and mother. Tameside and Oldham have significantly lower rates of breastfeeding initiation and 6-8 weeks continuation, compared to the England average. Therefore, Tameside Council, in partnership with Oldham Council, are looking to contract with a provider to implement and deliver a Breastfeeding Peer Support Service. It is expected that the Breastfeeding Peer Support Service will contribute to promoting a social and cultural shift where breastfeeding is viewed as the conventional way to feed a baby, as well as providing one to one and groups support.

Emergency Department Stop Smoking Service

Norfolk County Council wishes to procure an emergency department stop smoking service that aims to: 1. Reduce smoking prevalence and smoking-related health inequalities by providing evidence-based smoking cessation support to adult smokers attending Emergency Departments (EDs) in Norfolk and Waveney. 2. Reduce future Emergency Department attendances and hospital admissions linked to smoking-related conditions. 3. Increase the number of quit attempts and successful smoking cessation outcomes. 4. Contribute to improved population health outcomes and reduced burden on the NHS through early intervention. 5. Support the Government's ambition for Smokefree communities by 2030. 6. Reduce inequalities in smoking prevalence and tobacco-related harm among disadvantaged populations. 7. Embed the smoking cessation offer as part of a whole-system approach in collaboration with acute, community, and public health partners This is a procurement under the Health Care Services ( Provider Selection Regime) 2023 and not the Procurement Act 2023. Norfolk County Council are using the competitive process as per Regulation 11 of the Provider Selection Regime. The decision makers are the Head of Complex Transactions and Sourcing and the Assistant Director of Public Health Commissioning and no conflicts of interests have been identified. The requirement is not for a framework agreement.
