This is an invitation to tender for the development and delivery of a Plant and Machinery Employment Academy on behalf of Derry City and Strabane District Council’s Labour Market Partnership, hereby known as DSLMP. Through the 2024/25 Action Plan, DSLMP strive to improve employability outcomes and / or labour market conditions locally. This procurement exercise focuses on the Skilled Labour Supply theme. DSLMP are seeking tenders from organisations who have the required experience, expertise, and qualifications in delivering and managing employment academies within the Construction / Heavy Plant Operator sector. Contractors are being secured across the council area to delivery on large capital projects. To deliver on these projects, there is a requirement for a highly skilled local workforce within the heavy plant operator sector. Your submission must be submitted via eTendersNI, via this CFT. Extension of existing Alternative Education Rolling Select List

Tenders are invited for inclusion on a Rolling Select List of approved, quality assured providers of Alternative Education intended to facilitate the placement of vulnerable children and young people for whom the Council has a statutory responsibility. All young people placed under this contract will be of statutory school age in Key Stages 1-5. Alternative Education encompasses a wide range of provisions including vocational therapeutic and tuition services offering up to 15 hours per week. These placements will be for children and young people who are currently not in education or are experiencing placement breakdown. Alternative education focusses on removing barriers to education and typically helping pupils back into mainstream environments. Whatever form it takes, Alternative Education should always be part of the inclusion process, not the end goal. These packages are commissioned outside of the local offer and are individually tailored to meet the needs of the individuals. These packages are put in place for children when there are difficulties in identifying a suitable permanent education provision for the child. The provision is used as an interim measure to ensure CYP continue to receive education and support whilst a more permanent placement is identified. These may also be put in place at the request of the families. Providers can apply to join the Rolling Select List or amend which lots they have bid for at any time, however, once the select list is live, applications will only be considered on a termly basis during the months of February, June and October each calendar year. Bidders will be notified no later than the end of the calendar month following month that the Rolling Select List is advertised as open to new bidders. e.g. end of March, end of July and end of November. This Rolling Select List complies with the Light touch Regime under the Public Contract Regulations 2015.

FSF Dynamic Purchasing System 2 - For the Provision of Work Focused Activities. Project_23908

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) intends to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) to procure Work Focused Activities in Jobcentre Plus Districts in England, Scotland and Wales. The DPS is for the procurement of social and other services referred to in Regulation 74 of the Public Contracts Regulations (2015) and as such, the intention is to use a light touch regime, rather than the full regime described in Regulation 34 (Dynamic Purchasing System). The DPS is for the sole use of DWP. The Flexible Support Fund Dynamic Purchasing System 2 - For the Provision of Work Focused Activities (FSF DPS 2) is the replacement for the DWP Dynamic Purchasing System for provision of work-focused activities known as the Flexible Support Fund DPS (FSF DPS). The current FSF DPS will expire on 31st October 2021 and FSF DPS 2 will replace it for new call-offs from 1st November 2021. The DPS will open for Supplier accreditation applications from 20 September 2021.
