Description

Award of a call off contract under the Prison Education Dynamic Purchasing System for Numeracy and Literacy support for Prisoners at HMP Stafford. The supplier shall facilitate a Literacy and Numeracy programme that will address the barriers that exist with prisoners who have low levels of literacy and numeracy. These include:
- Understanding written communications within the prison
- Engaging with support services 
- Obtaining and maintaining employment 
- Engaging with the prison's formal education provision
- Accessing accredited programmes 
- Effective engagement in sentence planning, release planning, and the various pathways to reducing reoffending.
