Asbestos inspection and testing surveys covering Management, Refurbishment, Demolition and Re-inspections to occupied dwellings, sheltered accommodation, common/communal areas, boiler rooms, void properties and commercial buildings. 
This may include, but is not limited to: 
 Management surveys to single or multiple rooms, 
 Refurbishment surveys to single or multiple rooms, 
 Refurbishment surveys to targeted areas within room(s), 
 Re-inspection surveys of all or specified ACM records in a property, 
 Directed sampling exercises, 
 Demolition surveys to single structures or full domestic property 
 Any combinations of the above

Term Service Contract for Asbestos Surveys to Corporate & Housing Properties

The contract covers for the provision of asbestos surveying services including the analysis of samples taken. The objective of the contract is to receive accurate and timely survey information to assist the council in managing its building and housing stock in a safe and effective manner. This contract will also assist in meeting the council’s obligations as duty holder under the Control of Asbestos Regulations. CA16403 - RFQ 2025/19 - Asbestos Removal Downshire Civic Centre

A Survey Report identified the presence of asbestos containing materials (ACMs) within the basement tunnels of the Downshire Civic Centre. While the affected area is not accessible to general staff, the ACMs identified still present a health risk to authorised personnel who may need to enter the tunnel. To ensure compliance with Control of Asbestos Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2012, and to eliminate the risk of exposure, the identified materials must be removed safely by a competent, HSENI-licensed contractor.
