Weston College is seeking suppliers to provide flexible, on-demand student transport services to support a wide range of local, regional and national educational trips, enrichment activities, and curriculum-linked excursions. There is no fixed transport schedule or annual plan; instead, requirements will arise on an ad-hoc basis, often with little advance notice. These transport needs will be driven by the demands of the curriculum and may not be confirmed weeks or even months in advance. The service must therefore be highly responsive and adaptable, with the capacity to accommodate varying journey lengths, group sizes, and destination types. This includes local and regional travel, and occasionally, longer-distance trips. Reliability, safety, and the ability to respond quickly to booking requests are crucial. Extension of Existing Dynamic Purchasing System for Passenger Transport Services

Swindon Borough Council (The Council) has set up a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the provision of Passenger Transport Services. Swindon Borough Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers to apply to join the Dynamic Purchasing System for the provision of passenger transport services. The Dynamic Purchasing System has been split into 5 Lots: Lot 1 Bus & Coach – Individual routes / bus services (public, education and social care transport). Lot 2 Minibus - Individual routes (public and education transport). Lot 3 Taxi - Individual routes (public and education transport). Lot 4 Minibus Social Care and Community Transport – this will consist of dial a ride and shopping service, day centre and ad hoc transport requirements. Lot 5 Taxi Social Care Transport - Complete Package of all routes and service needs If you are successfully appointed to the DPS following your submission you will be invited by the Council to submit tenders for relevant services through a call for competition. This DPS remains open for any supplier to request to participate throughout the duration of the DPS. To participate, Suppliers will need to Register as a Supplier with ProContract, www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk, then Register an Interest before obtaining access to the Application documents. In the event of difficulties registering as a supplier, please refer to the System Administrator Proactis support team [email protected] This DPS has been extended for a further 44 months to 23 February 2029. We reserve the right to extend, shorten or terminate, in part or whole, any Lot or the entire DPS at any time

Provision of Road Passenger Transport Services for Children and Adults DPS

Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council (BMBC) wishes to establish a transport DPS for the provision of passenger transport for children and adults. BMBC has a statutory duty to provide home to school travel arrangements for eligible children to access their education for both SEN and non-SEN children as outlined in the Home to School/college Travel Assistance Policy. The requirement is for a regular home to school transport service during school term time both in the Borough of Barnsley and out of the Borough, which include daily, weekly, fortnightly, or termly single or return journeys In addition, the Council also provides transport to and from day centres for vulnerable adults who are covered under the Chronically Sick and Disabled Persons Act 1970 and 1986.
