Design and build for the cultural and creative transformation works to the Passmore Edwards Building, Falmouth

The Council invites response to this Invitation to Tender (ITT) from suitably qualified suppliers ("Suppliers") for the provision of a professional services design team for design services to overhaul the Passmore Edwards Municipal Building as well as the build contractor. The appointed Supplier will act as the lead professional design team and build contractor for the works element for the major transformation of the Municipal Building. It should be noted that works consist of the following: 1. Internal works to redesign the internal gallery space (see brief). Initially this is to undertake RIBA Stages 0-2 which will inform a submission for funding. If approved, there will be a second phase RIBA 3-4. The final stage RIBA Stages 5-6 will also be dependent on external funding applications. 2. The construction element of the internal redesign. 3. External works to undertake alterations to existing building comprising of thermal and energy related improvements, with associated repairs. 4. Damp and Mould - Cause Investigation, Remedial Works, Ventilation/Extraction Installation, Mould Treatment and Monitoring Central Bedfordshire Council, a unitary authority responsible for a range of services including housing, highways, planning, education, and social care, manages approximately 5,500 social housing properties across a 276-square-mile area. The Council is seeking a qualified Contractor to undertake Damp and Mould investigative works across its housing stock. The Contractor will be required to survey properties upon request, identify issues related to Damp and Mould, and provide comprehensive reports detailing findings and recommended remedial actions. These reports will support the Council in planning and executing necessary repair or improvement works. The Council will provide as much support and information as it can to help guide you through the Tender process. Questions asked together with the response, will be made available to all tenderers, to ensure a fair and consistent approach to all. If there is anything you are not sure about or need clarification on, please use the Correspondence facility within the In-tend electronic tendering system. Last date for receiving questions on the In-Tend system: Friday 22nd August 2025 – 5pm. Completed Tender documentation should be submitted electronically by the due date via our In-tend electronic tendering system. Tender must be uploaded via the “My Return” section of the system. Tenders submitted through the correspondence facility will not be considered. Your Tender must be submitted via the In-tend system by no later than Friday 29th August 2025 –12noon. Measured Term Contract for the Supply of Maintenance Services to the Bangor University Estate

To make potential bidders aware of a forthcoming tender to be issued on the 1st September 2025 (approximately) for maintenance services and minor works (up to £100k excl VAT) under three lots covering Electrical, Mechanical, and Building and Grounds Maintenance services. Suppliers are encouraged to bid across one or multiple lots and the use of sub contractors is permitted. The contracts for each lot will be subject to NSR (National Schedule of Rates) under the JCT Measured Term Contract 2024. Please note a mandatory supplier visit is required of all bidders. The visits to Bangor site with presentations , visits to sites and Q&A session will be held W/C 15th July (this may change if tender timetable dictate) and a seperate visit will be held for each lot (anticipated 1/2 day per lot to take place over 2 consecutive days).
