Description

NHS Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit (MLCSU) is working on behalf of NHS Lancashire & South Cumbria Integrated Care Board (ICB) who are looking to undertake a multi-lot Competitive Process for the provision of Dementia Post Diagnostic Support Services.
It is the intention of the ICB to start commissioning
contracts for the above services from 1st July 2025
for 3 years, with an option to extend for a further 2
years.
Lot 1 - Blackpool - £108,885
Lot 2 - East Lancs - £199,624
Lot 3 - Central & West - £244,993
Lot 4 - Blackburn with Darwen - £90,738*
Lot 5 - Lancs North - £172,270
Lot 6 - South Cumbria - £90,738
* Please note Lot 4 will not commence service until April 2026 and will therefore be a contract length which is shorter than the other lots but is co-terminus.

Carers Support Service

The Authority invites response to this Invitation to Tender (ITT) from suitably qualified suppliers ("Suppliers") on the Isle of Wight for the provision of a Carers Support Service. The Carer Support Service will be available for adults, including young adult carers (over the age of 18) who support a person who lives on the Isle of Wight and will support anyone who provides unpaid care for a family member or friend who due to age, illness, disability, a mental health problem, or additional needs cannot cope without that support. The Care Act places a duty on local authorities to identify people in their area who might have support needs that are not being met and to ensure that services are available to prevent their care needs from becoming more serious, or delay the impact of their needs and ensure adults requiring support get the information and advice they need to make good decisions about care and support. To meet the requirements stated above Cambridgeshire County Council is inviting tenders for a Community Navigator Service which a contributes to Cambridgeshire County Council's delivery of universal services and early intervention and is an element of our demand management arrangements. The service is designed to support people to maintain independence in their own homes and communities therefore reducing the demand on statutory services.

Adult Mental Health Stepdown Services - Pilot

The Contracting Authority (LPFT) has experienced an increasing number of out of area acute inpatient placements for a sustained period, with significant pressure on the urgent care pathway, increasing length of stay on wards and challenging flow. One of the schemes in development is to utilise an empty LPFT unit for step-down accommodation, namely Ashley House in Grantham that was previously an open rehabilitation inpatient unit. This unit has 15 beds available for use: Ground floor has n=2 accessible bedrooms with a shared wet room / toilet. The upper floor accessed by stairs has n=6 bedrooms with ensuites. The remaining bedrooms n=7 share toilet / shower facilities on their corridor. This service requires a Provider to deliver step-down provision for patients that are clinically ready for discharge.
