Description

Norfolk County Council has a requirement to arrange for the Treatment and/or Disposal of residual waste that has not been sent for reuse, recycling or composting via the WCAs' arrangements or via the County Council's Recycling Centre services.

This particular Framework Contract is intended to allow for short to medium term treatment and / or disposal of residual waste, including possible pre-treatment of waste, to address a shortfall in the capacity of the Council's current arrangements to deal with residual waste, to address other short-term needs and to allow for options to pre-treat bulky waste to be developed. Bidders should note that there is no guarantee of work under this framework.
