Leicester Forest East parish council wish to enter a three-year contract for 37 Christmas lights on lighting columns in Leicester Forest East (to be rented, installed, taken down and stored). Twenty lighting columns are already in use and have the requisite sockets and timers fitted to the lighting columns. However, an additional 17 lights are desired for the 2025-20257 contract and these lighting columns will need sockets and timers fitted. The lighting columns are mainly on the A47, with two in the parish hall car park and two on Stafford Leys Road.

Three-year contract for 2025, 2026 and 2027:
• 20 lights (on lighting columns with existing sockets and timers)
• Plus 17 additional lights (so 37 lights in total)
• Plus 17 additional sockets
• Plus 17 additional timers
• Delivery and installation
• Storage of lights between Christmases
• Will be mainly on the A47 (Hinckley Road), Leicester Forest East but also Stafford Leys and two at the parish hall car park.
• Coloured lights
• Lights to be on 24/7
• From before the last Thursday of November until 12th night
• 2 metre high lights, at least

Windlesham Parish Council is seeking contractors to provide Christmas trees and lighting for three distinct locations: Bagshot, Lightwater, and Windlesham. To accommodate local preferences and logistical considerations, this tender is divided into three lots. Suppliers may submit bids for one, multiple, or all lots. Each lot will be evaluated independently, and contracts may be awarded separately. The selected contractor must be able to supply, install, and remove all festive lights, as well as supply and install Christmas trees and tree lights. In the event of an emergency, the contractor must be able to attend the site within two hours. For all other call-outs, attendance is required within 24 hours. For further details, please refer to Appendix 1, which provides detailed information on requirements, and Appendix 2, Standard Selection Questionnaire which must be completed and submitted alongside your tender application. Please note that you must answer all questions in parts, 1, 2, and 3. To be considered, interested contractors must demonstrate a proven track record, supported by evidence of previous or current similar projects. Applicants must also provide at least one relevant reference and a copy of valid insurance, including public liability insurance of £10 million, a risk assessment, and a HERS certificate with their application. Contractors who meet these requirements are invited to complete the attached tender spreadsheet and submit an estimated cost breakdown for 3 consecutive years. Contractors should be aware that the Council reserves the right to not award the contract or alternative to award the contract by lot, for either 1, 2 or 3 years.

Provision of Festive Lighting

ST. ANNE'S on the Sea TOWN COUNCIL TENDER SPECIFICATION The appointment of a supplier and contractor for the provision of Town Centre Christmas Lights for a period of 3 or 5 years to cover Christmas 2025, 2026 and 2027 or 2025 to 2029 at a cost of no more than £100,000 over the three-year period or £140,000 over the five-year period. For: The appointment of an appropriate organisation for the supply, installation, removal, storage, maintenance of Christmas Lights and maintenance of associated infrastructure Date: 15th March 2025 Specification • Provision of some 53 motifs/displays on lighting columns on St. Anne's Road West, The Crescent, Orchard Road, Park Road, Garden Street and Wood Street plus festoons on both sides of St. Anne's Road West. • Provision of up to 4 large free standing LED displays • The decoration of an existing natural tree in the town centre. • Provision of light strings and icicle lights to six public realm domes • This can be supply or on rental agreement for the Tendering Organisation to specify or display as cost options. The Council own a small number of festoons which can be utilised. • To test, refurbish, store, install and connect to power supply and then remove all displays/features/festoons and stored by the lighting provider. • To carry out an annual function and safety check and respond to any issues with council owned LED festoon lights • Consideration of multiple options for proposed new displays • Consideration for opportunities to improve and/or enhance current provision • All decorative displays to be installed, tested, maintained, removed and stored when not in use. • All electrical infrastructure to be tested and maintained.
