Description

A fully comprehensive 5-year multi-site maintenance agreement with GE Healthcare is requested for the Lunar IDXA systems located at Infantry Training Centre (Catterick) and Army Training Centre (Pirbright). This maintenance agreement will include warranty on all parts (including X-ray tube), labour, emergency in-person call outs, travel expenses, unlimited visits (including 1 yearly preventive maintenance visit) and software updates.  
 
This maintenance agreement is required to comply with standard operation procedures to ensure participant and researcher safety from ionising radiation when operating the Lunar IDXA. This equipment is fundamental to multiple large empirical investigations to support Health and Performance Research teams mission to "enable evidence-based decision making and policy formation through the delivery, coherence and assurance of health and performance research in training".
