For the last two years Teesside University has enhanced our student wellbeing offer through the provision of an external counselling service provided on a call out contract basis. The call out service enables us to ensure short waiting times for support as well as manage times of peak demand across the year. Over the last two years the call-out contract has become an integral element of the University's wellbeing provision and we are looking to continue this provision. Teesside University offers a range of ways for students to study at higher education. As well as our main Middlesbrough campus we also have campuses in London and Darlington as well as an online only student cohort. It is important that all students are able to access an equitable service and we are seeking a provider who can provide counselling both in person in Teesside as well as on-line/virtual counselling. We are seeking to contract an experienced provider of counselling services who can provide suitably qualified counsellors to meet the needs of Teesside University Students. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.

Cwm Taf Morgannwg Regional Trauma Informed Counselling Project (Enhancement of the Regional Specialist Health Team)

This Service will enhance the already established Specialist Health Team, and the service provider will work in partnership to provide a structured range of services to enhance the Health and Wellbeing of clients placed in Hostels, Temporary accommodation, supported accommodation and those accessing Housing First services across Cwm Taf Morgannwg. The project will provide 4 full-time Trauma Informed Psychotherapist for individuals exposed to homelessness, as an enhancement to the Regional Specialist Health Team working throughout Hostels and Temporary accommodations across Cwm Taf Morgannwg. The project will provide: 2 x Therapist in Rhondda Cynon Taf 1 x Therapist in Bridgend 1 x Therapist in Merthyr Tydfil

The Council is looking to procure a contract for the provision of an ASQ accredited advice service provider to deliver universal advice and information to the citizens of Barnsley and a dedicated British Sign Language provision for the deaf community. The aims of the service will be to: (a) deliver advice and information to citizens of Barnsley who seek assistance with a wide range of issues which promotes individuals independence and well-being, including promoting opportunities for individuals to return into employment and/or training, where appropriate. (b) provide a British Sign Language service to replicate this offer to the local deaf community. The objective of the service is to deliver free, confidential, impartial and independent advice to enable local residents to deal with a wide range of issues, including debt and money advice, welfare benefits, housing, utilities, relationships, employment and consumer issues.
