Description

The aim of this project was to bring together all of our individual Lift Maintenance Contracts in to 1 long term agreement. As old agreements expire they will be integrated into this new arrangement. The scope also allows for lift refurbishment and additional works within the nature of the Contract on an Ad Hoc basis.

High Chelmer Lifts Refurbishment Project

The Council is seeking Stage 1 tender responses from lift installation contractors with experience of installing lifts in a multi storey building that is open to the public. The processes involves a Regulated Below-Threshold Shortlisting Process based on Technical Requirements as permitted under the Procurement Act 2023, Part 6, Section 85 for Works contracts valued over £213,477. Lifts Service and Maintenance

Hafod Housing Association Ltd, is re-tendering the contract to provide service and maintenance cover for its lifts (platform, through floor, stair and vertical). A 3-year comprehensive contract as more fully described in Section 5.15 (schedule 1a) whereby the Contractor undertakes, for a specified all-inclusive consideration, to carry out all or any maintenance, repairs or renewals which may be or become necessary and provide an emergency 24-hour service; The Contract term shall include the option for two further 12-month extensions based on contract performance over the initial 3-year period. The Employer’s objectives are to maintain a high level of reliability and availability of its units by operating a system of planned preventative maintenance with response to call outs and call backs/breakdowns maintained at agreed performance levels.
