Gateshead Council are looking to appoint a provider for an Ice Cream Concession to attend the Saltwell Park site.
Applications are invited from outdoor caterers who wish to be considered for the provision of a mobile Ice Cream concession at Saltwell Park. The exact location will be confirmed by the Council.
Concessionaires have the opportunity to operate daily at this site, within the below-mentioned period:
1st June 2025 - 31st May 2026

The soluble compliant school hot chocolate supplied and delivered to all secondary school premises must comply in all respects with the relevant provisions of law, as amended, governing the quality of products for human consumption and labelling as follows - (i) Food Safety Act 1990 (ii) The Food Hygiene (Scotland) Regulations 2006 (iii) The General Food Regulations 2004 (iv) The Food Information (Scotland) Regulations 2014 as amended The compliant Regulated specification for the soluble hot chocolate is detailed below- The hot chocolate must be compliant with the Nutritional Requirements for Food and Drink in Schools (Scotland) Regulations 2020 Schedule 2 Part1 Section 15 (f). Consumables containing sugar or fat provided by the successful Supplier must comply with the nutritional guidance contained within the Nutritional Requirements for Food and Drink in Schools Regulations (Scotland) 2020 as detailed below: Lower fat milk drinks containing no more than 0.5g of free sugar per 100ml No more than 5g of total sugar per 100ml No more than 1.8g of total fat per 100ml Please note - It is the Glucose Syrup or Dried Glucose Syrup in the ingredients of the vast majority of Hot Chocolate that would count as added sugar, and thus would contravene the Regulations.

Fresh Food DPS Contract Award Notices December 2024 - February 2025

Due to a technical issue the dates above do not represent the actual DPS Contract Dates. 2022/S 000-020877 NHS Supply Chain: Food seeks to establish a non-exclusive DPS Agreement for the supply of Fresh Food to NHS Supply Chain: Food's customer base via the Direct Route covering products including but not limited to: fruit, vegetables, prepared potatoes, salads, milk, dairy products, eggs, bread, morning goods, fresh meat, fresh poultry, fresh fish and meat alternatives. The DPS will be in place for a minimum of 7 years with an approximate spend of £200m and will be the main procurement route for NHS Trusts Fresh Food requirements. The DPS is open for applications until 28th February 2029 as a minimum. The DPS is divided into 4 categories of products and Applicants may apply to be included on any or all of the product categories. The 4 categories under the DPS are as follows: Category 1 - Dairy & Bakery Category 2 - Fresh Meat, Poultry & Fish Category 3 - Fruit, Vegetables & Salads Category 4 - Meat Alternatives Applicants will only be accepted to categories they have applied for if they pass all mandatory criteria within the DPS award process. This notice is for the award of Contracts under the DPS between December 2024 - February 2025.
