The contracting authorities are not awarding a new contract.  This VEAT notice is in respect of a proposed modification to extend and make minor amendments to the existing contract for the treatment and disposal of household and other waste.  See sections II.2.4 and IV.1.1 for further details.

The Council are seeking offers from suitably licenced service providers to receive, treat and/or dispose of a number of resource streams with a view to managing them in accordance with the waste hierarchy.
