Temporary Workers

Braintree District Council is seeking a master vendor to work with the Operations department to supply a range of temporary workers to support the day-to-day operations and deliver front line services, including but not limited to; Waste Services, Trade Waste Collections, Street Cleansing, Horticulture and Grounds Maintenance Services, HGV Repair and Maintenance Services and general service support. The range of temporary workers and the tasks required to be undertaken, may vary throughout the lifetime of the contract. The Contractor will be required to undertake full and robust checks on the temporary workers to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and best practice within the industry. This contract will not be exclusive and if the Contractor is unable to supply temporary workers as required, alternative agencies will be utilised. Please also note the following with regard to the potential impact of Local Government Reform (LGR) and Devolution to this project; The contracting authority is Braintree District Council and any Successor Body meaning one or more entities which assumes any of the Council's functions (as applicable) as a result of Local Government Reform (LGR).
