Description

We are planning a phased introduction of electric vans over the next three years to partially replace the existing diesel fleet.
We have a requirement for the following:
1.	40 electric vans as per the specification below.
a.	We would seek to contract for 40 vans over the full period but require a call off delivery to multiple locations across the UK. We expressly don't want a bulk delivery but individual vans delivered as required.
b.	Of the 40 total vans we are seeking 20 between April 2025 and March 2026. 
c.	10 between April 2026 and March 2027
d.	10 between April 2027 and March 2028
e.	We are open to lease hire options (new or used vans) as well as outright purchase.
2.	Home charging infrastructure for 40 staff. Installation dates to align with van delivery.
3.	Introductory driver training for staff who are new to electric vehicles. 60 sessions between April 2025 and March 2028 on a call off basis.
4.	Vehicle movement service to routinely relocate vehicles around the UK. 30 movements averaging 250 miles each between April 2025 and March 2028. UK defined as England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland excluding Devon and Cornwall and Scottish islands.

The Welsh Blood Service (WBS) is an All Wales Service collecting voluntary, non-remunerated blood donations from the public. North West Team Base, Llandygai, Bangor (LL57 4YH) North East Team Base and holding/distribution centre, Pembroke House, Wrexham (LL13 7YT) The Maintenance provision will be split into different categories as detailed below and will be subject to the requirements of each specific vehicle type: • Service • MOT • Vehicle plating • Eight weekly inspection • Tail lift maintenance • Air conditioning • Body and Paintwork Repair • Heating and Cooling Servicing • Storage Requirements • Collection and Delivery • Ad-Hoc Requirements • Emergency Cover and Callouts
