Description

Derby City Council is seeking to appoint a single Service Provider to deliver an Integrated Independent Advocacy Service hub with a single point of entry for anyone who requires and meets the relevant eligibility criteria for statutory advocacy support in Derby, a specialist advocacy service to support the requirements of the Care Act 2014 and for vulnerable adults of working age who are not eligible for statutory advocacy.
The Service provider will deliver a standardised process for the receipt, management & monitoring of advocacy referrals; provide economies of scale and support investment in good quality information, training, and data management systems.
The Service Provider will be expected to work closely with the Council and health partners with a focus on frontline delivery and partnership working.
The initial term is for three years. The contract is estimated to commence 1st April 2025 and expire 31st March 2028. There will be an option to extend the contract for up to a further two years in annual increments, subject to satisfactory performance and business needs. Maximum contract period is, therefore, 5 years.

Retender Greater Essex Individual Placement and Support for Severe Mental Illness (IPS for SMI)

Essex County Council as lead commissioner is seeking to procure a service for Individual Placement and Support for Serious Mental Illness (IPS for SMI). The IPS for SMI is an employment support service integrated with secondary care mental health services to assist people who experience severe mental health conditions to find paid work. ECC is the lead commissioner for this service on behalf of the three ICBs in Essex, namely Mid and South Essex (MSE), Hertfordshire and West Essex (HWE ), and Suffolk and North East Essex (SNEE). Please note that this service will not cover Hertfordshire or Suffolk. For the purposes of this procurement, this service is an ALL Essex service, which includes the Unitary Authorities of Southend and Thurrock. The contract will have an initial term of 3 years (36 months), with an option to extend for a period of no more than 2 years (24 months) at the discretion of the commissioners. The contract value for a potential 5 year duration is capped at £1,600,000 per annum or £8,000,000 for 5 years. The service is expected to deliver IPS access to 1244 unemployed people aged 18 or over, each contract year.

Tender for Strategic Partner: Delivery of Residential and Nursing Care in Gloucestershire County Council Estate.

Gloucestershire County Council are seeking to procure a partner for the delivery of Residential and Nursing Care Services in 5 homes. The authority intends to award Master Service Agreement (MSA) A five-year contract commencing on 01 February 2026 and expiring on 31 January 2031, with the option for the agreement to be extended by up to five years initially and then for further periods of up to five years if mutually agreed by the Parties such that the Expiry Date is the last day of the current extended Term, provided always the Expiry Date shall be no later than 31 January 2040. This contract is being procured under the Light Touch Regime. The Council will issue statements of services for the first five homes and the Council may issue statements of services for further Homes in the future depending on requirement. The Council may, during the term of the contract require services be provided at additional Homes. In the event that the Council issues a Statement of Services for one or more Homes in addition to the initial tranche of five Homes, the Statement of Services Fee will be based on the prices stated in the Pricing Schedule, taking into account the indexation applied by the Council to its bed rates in the period from the Commencement Date plus any other reasonable increases in the Provider's pricing due to external factors such as minimum pay rates and inflation. The preliminary market engagement was conducted ( over 12 months) prior to the commencement of the Procurement Act 2023; a Preliminary Market Engagement Notice was therefore not published
