Signing and Guarding Products
      
      As Highway Authority, Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council have a duty to maintain the Highway network within the Borough of Sandwell. 
      To comply with the New Road and Street Works Act (NRSWA), when undertaking maintenance activities on the Highway, and to maintain public and employee safety, it is necessary to cone and guard the Highway or work area.
      
      We are seeking to engage up to three (3) suppliers that we can call off to provide a range of signs and guarding products e.g. cones, frontier barriers and directional signage - please see pricing schedule document for details.
      
      Term of Contract
      The Council proposes to enter into a Contract for an initial term of four (4) years. The anticipated commencement date is 01 February 2025 to 31 January 2029.
      
      Value of Contract
      The anticipated annual value of the Contract for Signing and Guarding products is estimated to be in the region of £40,000. Total contract value over the four (4) years is £160,000.
