Description

The Leicester Recovery Hub will play a key role in supporting vulnerable people engaged in substance use and street lifestyles, including dependent drinkers and drug users. The service will operate from a physical City Centre location, working with partners across the local treatment system to support individuals already in treatment, and those not currently in treatment.
The service provides brief/semi-structured interventions to people with substance use needs, including street drinking and other substances associated to street lifestyle issues. The service also provides a wet day centre provision to allow dependent street drinkers to consume alcohol in a safe environment, whilst receiving interventions.

Supporting victims, survivors, witnesses, and those harmed by crime is at the heart of this Police and Crime Plan, helping people to get justice. The Mayor will continue to commission the most appropriate services that victims and witnesses need, building on the excellent work already being undertaken around priorities. The West Yorkshire Independent Sexual Violence Adviser (ISVA) Service and Independent Stalking Advocacy Caseworker (ISAC) service embracing the concept of: Work with people who have experienced rape and sexual assault and stalking and provide a confidential service offering impartial and independent advice. ISVA and ISAC support varies based on the individual needs of the victim/survivor. The support is primarily through the criminal justice process, offering emotional and practical support and acts as the main point of contact for a victim/survivor and can liaise with the police on their behalf if needed. Autism Support for Young People

The contract will be award to one provider to begin 1st October 2025. The estimated annual value of this contract will be £600,000 (subject to change). The commissioned service will provide direct interventions to children with autism and their families. The specialist interventions will be specifically related to support associated with the child's autism. The brief will also include upskilling practitioners within the Early Help service, offering advice, guidance and training on autism enabling practitioners to respond effectively to families.
