Description

The University of Southampton conducted a competitive procurement exercise for the modernisation of one lift within the premises of Building 76X, University of Southampton, Wessex Lane Halls Complex, Southampton, SO18 2NU. The lift is located within a residential university premises and is now some 19 years old and in need of modernisation. It is also intended to upgrade features to comply with EN81:70. The Lift Contractor is requested to assume
responsibility of Principal Contractor for the lift works.

The University of Southampton is not a contracting authority for the purposes of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and therefore its procurement activities are not subject to the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
