Description

Services Agreement for the Provision of Extra Care Support Services at St Edmunds Court and Bishopsfield Court.

This Contract is subject to the Light Touch Regime, and will run for an initial term of 2 years and 1 month, with two options to extend for a further 12 months each.

Extra Care Housing:

Extra Care Housing combines accommodation with care and support services. The facilities and care provided will vary. Extra Care Housing schemes provide customers with their own self-contained flat, and usually includes:

• kitchen, lounge, bedroom and bathroom

• access to communal lounge/s and other facilities as well as communal garden

Extra Care housing schemes enable people aged 55 years and over live independently. The flats are safe, secure and accessible and equipped with a 24-hour call system. There is a care team on site 24 hours a day.

This funding is allocated to the South Midlands Partnership region. WNC is the accountable body for Bedford Borough, Central Bedfordshire, Milton Keynes, North Northamptonshire, and West Northamptonshire. This tender relates specifically to West Northamptonshire.
