Description

Wrexham County Borough Council is looking to appoint a Contractor to the replace a passenger lift at Darland High School, Rossett, Wrexham LL12 0DL. The existing lift is to be replaced in its entirety with a completely new traction MRL installation, including associated building & electrical works.
Life expectancy: 15 Years.
Lift Operation: Passenger Machine Room-Less (MRL) Lift.
The new lift components shall utilise open protocol systems, no closed systems will be considered.
These works can only be carried out during the school summer closure 21/07/2025 – 29/08/2025.
The appointed Contractor will be expected to appoint an appropriate Structural Engineer.
Work will be let under JCT Intermediate Building Contract with Contractor’s Design 2024.

Passenger Lift Servicing, Maintenance, Repairs and Replacement

Curo are looking for a single contractor to deliver a programme of passenger lift servicing, repairs and maintenance works across its passenger lift portfolio. In addition to the lift servicing and maintenance, Curo also wish to include a programme of passenger lift replacements and refurbishment. A full scope of work is detailed in the general and technical specifications included in the ITT tender pack. The contract will be for an initial period of four years taking the contract to 2029 with an optional extension of two periods of 12 months (4+1+1) taking the contract to 2031, which is subject to performance. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Curo is tendering for the provision of the above requirement.
