Description

An annual sum in the region of £10,000, but not limited to this amount, will be available for the provision of the core work outlined in this document. This is to include staffing, volunteer costs and related insurance, travel, preparation time and marketing. The commissioned organisation will also provide its own transportation, IT and other equipment (including equipment needed for activities, if not already in place within the community) and all consumable materials required to meet the objectives and provide activities and services for young people detailed above. 
Please note that the parish council has no buildings of its own and the cost of hiring facilities will need to be included within the tender.Provide activities and services for young people aged 10-16 to enjoy and to help their 
personal and social development. The suggested programme should consider youth activities already on offer in the parish and consider those that are running in neighbouring parishes

Oakley Beach Park Pump Track Renovation 2025

Location and Site: The site is within an existing grass area at Beach Park, Oakley RG23 7HB. The proposed pump track is to be contained within the area adjacent to a skatepark and car park, where an existing BMX track (19 years old) is currently situated on a rectangular grass site lined by trees on all sides. The area available for the pump track is approximately 2,750sqm. Access to the track is via the adjacent car park, which leads onto Station Road and the main B3400 Andover Road. Offer a safe space to challenge and develop skills for all ages and abilities. A continuous circuit of well-spaced mounds (rollers) and banked turns (berms) for all manner of wheeled sports equipment eg. Mountain bikes, BMX Bikes, Skateboards, Micro scooters and Rollerblades. Open to alternative design proposals other than a traditional pump track. All consultation, design and construction of the track to be within the identified £150,000.00 budget.

Upgrade Coppice Close Play Area

To carry out a refurbishment of Coppice Close Play Area (Hatfield). Companies are invited to submit proposed designs, a quotation for implementing those designs and confirmation that the entire works can be done between 17th April 2025 and 4th July 2025. The Council intend to take a two stage approach before awarding the contract. Stage one: Tenders should be submitted by email by the deadline of 4th April 2025. All tenders will be assessed against a set criteria (see documents attached). Stage two: Up to 4 companies will be invited to present proposals in person or via zoom. With the winning bid to be confirmed by 14th April 2025. Site visits are advised and appointments should be arranged with [email protected]
