Description

Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council wish to commission a Smoking Cessation Service that is innovative, adaptable, and aspirational, that supports the council to achieve it's vision for all smokers in Sandwell to be supported to stop or at least reduce the harm associated with their smoking or tobacco use.
The total possible contract term advertised was 4 years with a possible maximum value of £3,600,000 available to deliver Smoking Cessation Support Service of which £1,800,000 is subject to confirmation of government grants monies Local Stop Smoking Services and Support Grant (LSSSSG). Therefore, the initial annual contract value will be £450,000 which may increase to £900,000 subject to LSSSSG grant confirmation and council decision to include this funding within the contract.

Retender Greater Essex Individual Placement and Support for Severe Mental Illness (IPS for SMI)

Essex County Council as lead commissioner is seeking to procure a service for Individual Placement and Support for Serious Mental Illness (IPS for SMI). The IPS for SMI is an employment support service integrated with secondary care mental health services to assist people who experience severe mental health conditions to find paid work. ECC is the lead commissioner for this service on behalf of the three ICBs in Essex, namely Mid and South Essex (MSE), Hertfordshire and West Essex (HWE ), and Suffolk and North East Essex (SNEE). The contract value for a potential 5 year duration is capped at £1,600,000 per annum or £8,000,000 for 5 years. Tender for Strategic Partner: Delivery of Residential and Nursing Care in Gloucestershire County Council Estate.

Gloucestershire County Council are seeking to procure a partner for the delivery of Residential and Nursing Care Services in 5 homes. The authority intends to award Master Service Agreement (MSA) A five-year contract commencing on 01 February 2026 and expiring on 31 January 2031, with the option for the agreement to be extended by up to five years initially and then for further periods of up to five years if mutually agreed by the Parties such that the Expiry Date is the last day of the current extended Term, provided always the Expiry Date shall be no later than 31 January 2040. This contract is being procured under the Light Touch Regime. The Council will issue statements of services for the first five homes and the Council may issue statements of services for further Homes in the future depending on requirement. The Council may, during the term of the contract require services be provided at additional Homes. In the event that the Council issues a Statement of Services for one or more Homes in addition to the initial tranche of five Homes, the Statement of Services Fee will be based on the prices stated in the Pricing Schedule, taking into account the indexation applied by the Council to its bed rates in the period from the Commencement Date plus any other reasonable increases in the Provider's pricing due to external factors such as minimum pay rates and inflation. Shared Lives Services

This is a multi-lot, multi Supplier Framework. The Service is the provision of long-term Shared Lives Placements in and around Glasgow City for adults aged 18+ and Shared Lives Respite Placements for adults and young people age 16+, including young adults in transition from children’s services to adult services, and who have: -physical disabilities and/or sensory impairments -learning disabilities and/or autistic spectrum conditions -mental health needs -any combination of the above Providers require to be innovative in the delivery and promotion of the Service and have a strong plan to deliver a Shared Lives Service for Individuals requiring support. Providers are required to remain knowledgeable about the latest developments in Shared Lives Services nationally, through membership of Shared Lives Plus, the national charitable coordinating body for Shared Lives Services. Providers will have a vision that fits with the ethos underpinning Shared Lives, in line with Care Inspectorate requirements and Shared Lives Plus good practice guidance. The development of positive links within the local community is of key importance and as such, Providers will be competent in linking into local resources and ensuring the Shared Lives Service is well connected in the communities where individuals in Shared Lives Placements are based. Providers will work in partnership with Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (GCHSCP) social work, health and commissioning staff, other Shared Lives Providers on this Framework, as well as specialist health inpatient staff from NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) when appropriate to successfully deliver the Service and expand the number of Long Term Shared Lives Placements and Shared Lives Respite Placements in and around Glasgow City.
