Description

Wokingham Borough Council is inviting tenders for the provision of "like for like" replacement of the Earley Station footbridge ramps and refurbishment of the aging bridge elements. The project will be delivered under a Design and Build Contract. This contract approach aims to streamline the project delivery process by combining design and construction responsibilities under a single contractor. The Footbridge spans between the districts of Woodley to the north and Earley to the south and carries a bridleway from Woodley along the boundary of Highwood Nature Reserve to the south of Earley Railway Station. The bridge is owned and maintained by Wokingham Borough Council (WBC). The date of original date of construction is circa 1971

The procurement is divided into two lots - Tenders may be submitted for one or more lots: • Lot 1 - Highways Structures Works (Package Order) value £1 to £100,000 • Lot 2- Highways Structures Works (Package Order) value £100,000.01 to £500,000
