Description

The Department for Transport (DfT) invites proposals for an e-learning Training Provider with specific expertise in R/SQL/Python/Excel.  This will be a 3-year contract, paid on an annual basis, and the contract will start from the 1st April 2025. The training will be delivered online. 

The audience for this e-learning training is Analysts within the Department for Transport (DfT). It is recognised that while some staff already possess good expertise in coding, specifically R, SQL, Python and Excel, central provision of e-learning will build analyst capabilities in applying these tools. This will strengthen the efficiency and effectiveness of the DfT analysts.

The Department for Transport will purchase 25 fixed user licences for analysts to use to learn R/SQL/Python/Excel with an option to buy up to an additional 20 licences for a fixed period.

The initial value of this contract is up to £30,000.00, however, the department has the right to increase the value to £50,000.00 depending on demand/need.

Online Learning Service

HMLR requires a Supplier to provide access to an online learning platform, which must offer a diverse range of content formats to support different learning styles and needs. These formats must include but not limited to digital books, video tutorials, live online training sessions, interactive environments, structured learning paths, and real-world case studies.
