Clissold Park & Hackney Downs Depots Refurbishments

Description

The London Borough of Hackney invites bids for the refurbishment of Clissold Park and Hackney Downs Park depots. The works include hybrid construction methods incorporating off-site prefabrication and traditional on-site assembly, delivering sustainable, energy-efficient facilities. Improvements include structural, mechanical, and electrical upgrades, enhanced welfare facilities, and environmental sustainability features such as air source heat pumps and photovoltaic panels.

These two sites are being procured as a combined contract to maximise economies of scale due to their similar design and construction requirements. The contract will be awarded to a single contractor responsible for both depots, ensuring standardisation and value for money. 

This procurement follows a single-stage open tender process. Bidders must demonstrate relevant experience in hybrid construction and refurbishment projects.
