Description

The Environment Agency (EA) is developing a series of new monitoring networks as part of the Natural Capital and Ecosystem Assessment (NCEA) project.  One of these covers small streams and another covers Lakes.

The overarching focus is to undertake macrophyte surveys at 26 small stream sites in England and undertake lake macrophyte surveys (including 'lake naturalness assessments') at 42 sites in England.  These surveys need to be completed by 30th September 2025.

Bristol Avon Flood Strategy Multi-Disciplinary Consultancy Services

Bristol City Council (BCC) is tendering for a lead Consultant who will deliver the full business case (FBC), including detailed design and consenting, for the Bristol Avon Flood Strategy. The Council will have the option within the contract to retain the lead designer into the construction phase to provide design advice and technical assurance as required. The length of the extension is unknown but will be several years, aligned to the future construction programme.
