Description

To provide the work and health coach support service (direct work) for eligible participants (working age adults) as part of the Wigan Locality Delivery Model for the DWP Funded WorkWell Programme.
Work Well is a collaborative approach programme between Wigan Council and GM ICB NHS also working alongside our VCFSE, Local Employers and Work & Health support providers.

The WorkWell Programme will:

•	WorkWell will provide evidence-based, low intensity work and health assessments that support individuals with their low-level occupational health needs and to overcome barriers to work.

•	WorkWell will prioritise intervening at the earliest possible point, as evidence shows this is the most effective way of helping people to stay in work or go back to work.

•	It is expected that the majority of people who will benefit from WorkWell are those in work with health barriers putting their work at risk, and those recently unemployed with health conditions.

•	The service will also, crucially, sit at the heart of the local work and health system, connecting together the wider support and services available to meet participants' needs.

Dental Epidemiology Programme

North Northamptonshire Council (hereafter referred to as "The Council") invites quotations for the provision of the Dental Epidemiology Programme. Local authorities are responsible for gathering information on the health needs of their local populations. This imperative is described in the Health and Social Care Act 2012, underpinned by Statutory Instrument 2012 number 3094. Each year, OHID publishes a National Protocol which identifies the target population group and provides a description of the standardised methods that fieldwork teams should use when undertaking the main survey. The population group for the 2025/26 survey will be 5-year-old children attending mainstream schools. This survey will use the same sampling frame as previous surveys to allow statistical comparison at local authority level. The surveys are currently the only measures we have of oral health at local authority geography and the national programme produces robust information that is comparable across local authorities offering benchmarking and an overall national picture. The population group for the 2026/27 survey will be confirmed by the National Protocol as published for the new survey year. All information, including the scope, the service specification and information on how to apply is set out in the attached Request For Quotation document. Should you wish to take part in the selection process please complete this Request for Quotation and return via email no later than the Deadline for Submission of Bids, 12:00 on Friday, 18 July 2025. Email address for submissions is: [email protected]
