The aim of this research is to:
- provide the GMC with insight into doctors' perceptions of us and our role in 2025.
- test some new questions with doctors to help us consider their use in the full tracking survey which will be conducted in 2026, and will be commissioned separately.
- provide the GMC with insight into the public's perceptions of us and our role in 2025.
- test some new questions with the public to help us consider their use in the full tracking survey which will be conducted in 2026, and will be commissioned separately.
- provide the GMC with insight into physician associates and anaesthesia associates perceptions of us and our role in 2025.
- explore how some of the questions we have used in previous years with doctors work (in some cases in a necessarily adapted form) with physician associates and anaesthesia associates, who are new audiences for us following the GMC becoming a multiprofessional regulator in late 2024.

OPSS Testing of Fire Door-Sets and Component Devices

1. You are invited to tender for Project 3276 - Testing of Fire Door-Sets and Component Devices. The requirement is for the testing of a variety of internal and external door sets against certain performance criteria outlines in their designated product standard – BS EN 16304 and BS EN 14351-1. 2. The requirement and subsequent contract shall be for a period of 24 months with the option to extend by up to 12 months.
