Description

West Oxfordshire District Council owns the Talisman Business Centre that comprises of 13 commercial/office units which covers an approximate area of 7.7 acres.  Ground maintenance as well as winter gritting and snow clearance are required. The contract price to be fixed for the first 3 years of the contract with a provision of a two year extensions.

The new play area at Mount Wise Gardens will provide a vital new facility for children residing in the Centre of Newquay. The play park is aimed at primary and junior school age children with some toddler provision. The park should be a welcoming and colourful space where everyone feels safe. Designs should be fun, creative and imaginative with equipment that promotes healthy activity, incorporates risk and challenge and promotes inclusiveness. Designs should make the best use of the space available with adequate space for Minimum Use Zones and allow sufficient space outside the fenced play area for seating/picnic tables. Seating provision will need to also be considered as part of the scope of this contract. The Council's aspiration is for project completion, snagging and handover to be undertaken no later than before the end of Spring 2026.
