Description

North Northamptonshire Council (NNC) is setting up a Framework for the provision of  Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) and E-Cigarettes (plus associated consumables) for use with clients engaged with North Northamptonshire Council's Stop Smoking Service for an initial period of 48 months.

North Northamptonshire stop smoking service includes a 12-week treatment plan incorporating NRT products, provided only to individuals aged 12 and above who are engaged in the stop smoking programme and receiving behavioural support with regular contact from a stop smoking advisor. Since February 2020, the service has also provided e-cigarettes, provided only to those aged 18 and above, which have become a popular method among service users, contributing to over 2,000 quit attempts.

The stop smoking service provides 12 weeks of support to local smokers and expects to work with 1,800 people per year in year one. This is expected to gradually increase to 3,000 people per year in five years.

Potential Providers wishing to providing goods to the Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) and E-Cigarettes Provision must apply to the Call Off -  Intend Reference 00000593 at the same time they apply to  the North Northamptonshire Council - Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) Products and E-Cigarettes Framework.

Potential providers who apply to the above lots and do NOT apply to the North Northamptonshire Council - Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) Products and E-Cigarettes Framework will not be considered for this Call Off and will be excluded from the process.

Northamptonshire Children's Trust (hereafter referred to as the "Children's Trust") is re-opening their Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the supply of services in respect of this requirement. Please note: this contract originally started on 1st February 2024. The Light Touch Regime (LTR) applies to the Services under this DPS, as per Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
