1. BACKGROUND 1.1 Thorne-Moorends Town Council wishes to draw your attention to an exciting opportunity to run a café situated within Thorne Memorial Park, Doncaster. 1.2 Thorne Memorial Park and its adjoining walled gardens are a site of about six acres which lay at the heart of Thorne in Doncaster. 1.3 The park and gardens are of local historic interest; surrounding a pond with lots of beautiful scenery and wildlife, featuring a play park, playing field, miniature steam railway, a Grade II listed Crimean War memorial pump, cenotaph and a bandstand, which is the scene of brass band concerts in the summer. 1.4 The Park hosts several events throughout the year including a Remembrance Sunday Service and Summer Festival. 1.5 The park has recently received an upgraded playpark bringing more footfall to the area, further investments are planned for the Memorial Park over the coming months and years. 2. TENDER EVALUATION AND AWARD CRITERIA 2.1 Each Tender will be checked initially for compliance with all requirements of the ITT. 2.2 Tenders will be evaluated against the award criteria set out below. Scoring criteria 0 - Major non-compliance with requirements. Evidence is unacceptable or non-existent. There is a failure to properly address issues or meet any of the requirements or no Information provided. 1 - Does not meet requirements. Major deficiencies or concerns in certain areas or where the lack of detail and relevance requires the reviewer to make assumptions. 2 - Meets requirements. Minor deficiencies or concerns in information provided but may be adaptable. 3 - Meets requirements. Adequate relevant detail provides a comprehensive response demonstrating fully how requirements will be met. 4 - Exceeds requirements. A comprehensive response which meets all requirements and offers some added value. Provision of Supply and Delivery of School Compliant Soluble Hot Chocolate

The soluble compliant school hot chocolate supplied and delivered to all secondary school premises must comply in all respects with the relevant provisions of law, as amended, governing the quality of products for human consumption and labelling as follows - (i) Food Safety Act 1990 (ii) The Food Hygiene (Scotland) Regulations 2006 (iii) The General Food Regulations 2004 (iv) The Food Information (Scotland) Regulations 2014 as amended The compliant Regulated specification for the soluble hot chocolate is detailed below- The hot chocolate must be compliant with the Nutritional Requirements for Food and Drink in Schools (Scotland) Regulations 2020 Schedule 2 Part1 Section 15 (f). Consumables containing sugar or fat provided by the successful Supplier must comply with the nutritional guidance contained within the Nutritional Requirements for Food and Drink in Schools Regulations (Scotland) 2020 as detailed below: Lower fat milk drinks containing no more than 0.5g of free sugar per 100ml No more than 5g of total sugar per 100ml No more than 1.8g of total fat per 100ml Please note - It is the Glucose Syrup or Dried Glucose Syrup in the ingredients of the vast majority of Hot Chocolate that would count as added sugar, and thus would contravene the Regulations.

Fresh Food DPS Contract Award Notices December 2024 - February 2025

Due to a technical issue the dates above do not represent the actual DPS Contract Dates. 2022/S 000-020877 NHS Supply Chain: Food seeks to establish a non-exclusive DPS Agreement for the supply of Fresh Food to NHS Supply Chain: Food's customer base via the Direct Route covering products including but not limited to: fruit, vegetables, prepared potatoes, salads, milk, dairy products, eggs, bread, morning goods, fresh meat, fresh poultry, fresh fish and meat alternatives. The DPS will be in place for a minimum of 7 years with an approximate spend of £200m and will be the main procurement route for NHS Trusts Fresh Food requirements. The DPS is open for applications until 28th February 2029 as a minimum. The DPS is divided into 4 categories of products and Applicants may apply to be included on any or all of the product categories. The 4 categories under the DPS are as follows: Category 1 - Dairy & Bakery Category 2 - Fresh Meat, Poultry & Fish Category 3 - Fruit, Vegetables & Salads Category 4 - Meat Alternatives Applicants will only be accepted to categories they have applied for if they pass all mandatory criteria within the DPS award process. This notice is for the award of Contracts under the DPS between December 2024 - February 2025.
