Description

Corserv Solutions Ltd is seeking to appoint a competent and experienced contractor to carry out filter drain renewal across sites in Cornwall under an NEC3 Contract.\r

.Refreshing sections of existing highway filter drains on A39 and A390. Site locations are:\r
\r
Trispen bypass A39, Penryn bypass A39, Hewas Water A390 and Coliza Hill A390\r
\r
Top 500mm of filter drain stone to be removed and cleansed in-situ to remove sediment and vegetation from the stone. Existing stone to be recycled on site and topped up with new 505B material where required.\r

Specific Works Location and Restrictions Principal Road Network\r
\r
Site Specific Details All of the roads are part of our Principal Road Network which have embargos which have working time restrictions the most productive/ desirable time is to carry out works at night.\r
\r
The intention is to award the works to the most economically advantageous tenderer based on 20% Quality and 80% Price.\r
\r
Anticipated Works Date Feb/March 2025.\r

The dates for this additional work would be agreed with the successful contractor so cannot be quantified at this point. This is clearly identified in the tender documents. - The value stated in this notice is the midpoint of a range between £1,000,000 - £1,500,000 (exclusive of VAT). - The value stated in this notice is for the initial works and may be extended to include additional works (for example, the foul sewer). It is expected that the full contract value is estimated at approximately £3,000,000 (exclusive of VAT). Any additional works are clearly identified in the tender documents.
