Description

Building on the Strategy of Control Period 6, Network Rail’s (NRs) Occupational Health (OH), Hygiene and Wellbeing vision, the commitment for Control Period 7 (CP7) is based on sustainable health.
NR recognise that people are the greatest asset and the key to achieving the vision of a better railway for a better Britain. NR value the diversity, skills, and contributions of employees and strive to provide a safe, healthy, and supportive work environment.
A key element of sustaining the workforce was the introduction of the NR Inhouse Occupational Health Service – the core service comprises OH technicians, OH advisers, clinical management, and governance, supported by an operational administration team. This service is delivered from twenty-two (22) of NR clinics.
NR are seeking to award additional services to support NR’s inhouse OH service.
The proposed lotting structure is as follows:
Lot 1: Occupational Health Physician Services, Occupational Health Service for the Occupational Health Services and Occupational Therapy Workplace Assessments & Neurodiversity Assessments.
Lot 2: Specialist Referrals
The purpose of this notice is to inform the Supply Chain that Network Rail intends to approach the market early March. The PQQ will be linked to the opportunity listing within BravoNR, once ready to publish.
Network Rail are not liable for any costs, fees, or expenses incurred by any party in replying to the tender event.

Parenting Support Training and Delivery Grants

North Northamptonshire Family Hubs Programme is pleased to invite organisations across the partnership, including health services, local authorities, voluntary and community sector (VCS) groups and faith groups to apply for funding to deliver one of three evidence-based parenting support programmes: Triple P for Baby, Triple P Stepping Stones, and the Solihull Approach. Organisations should have experience in family support, early years, or community-based interventions, and the capacity to release staff or volunteers for training. This opportunity is targeted at services already engaged with families and managing caseloads within North Northamptonshire, ensuring the seamless implementation of evidence-based parenting programmes within established governance frameworks. The goal is to empower professionals to provide high-quality, evidence-based parenting support to families in North Northamptonshire, fostering stronger outcomes for children and parents across the region. Successful applicants will gain free access to accredited training and grant funding of up to £10,000 per organisation per training programme. This funding is designed to support service delivery and related activities. Training spaces will be available for 5-10 participants per organisation, depending on suitability and capacity to deliver effectively. Each successful organisation will receive: • Access to accredited training in one of the specified programmes • A grant of up to £10,000 to support participation, preparation, and implementation • Guidance and coordination from the Family Hubs team to ensure alignment with local delivery plans • Access to shared resources and learning networks within the Family Hubs parenting workstream Organisations are welcome to submit multiple bids if they wish to access training in the different parenting support interventions: Triple P for Baby, Triple P Stepping Stones, and the Solihull Approach. For each bid, they should provide evidence of how they will reach and engage diverse community groups through a broad and inclusive offer. Successful organisations will be expected to: • Identify up to five practitioners to undertake the training and subsequent delivery • Participate in pre- and post-training engagement sessions with the Family Hubs team • Deliver sessions in line with programme fidelity and safeguarding requirements • Contribute to local monitoring and evaluation through data returns and feedback forms • Work collaboratively with Family Action, Family Hub staff, and other local partners to ensure consistent delivery Grants of up to £10,000 per organisation per programme are available to cover staff time, backfill, materials, and reasonable associated costs. Funding must be used to support participation in training, preparation for delivery, and the implementation of the selected programme(s).
