Description

Surrey County Council is seeking to procure Mental Health Advisors Service. The service is grant funded for the duration of 2 December 2024 - 31 March 2026 (16 months)
      
      The service will support eligible participants to improve their emotional wellbeing and mental health, as a contributor to maintaining their employment and thriving in work. The service will consist of employing Mental Health Advisors integrated into regional WorkWell multidisciplinary teams, to provide one to one and group mental health support to individuals being supported by the WorkWell programme.
      
      Most suitable Provider process is being used for this procurement.
      
      Interested in bidding providers are requested to formally Express Interest by sending a message via the communication function of the portal confirming their interest in this tender. Deadline to Express Interest is 21 October 2024 at 5pm.
      
      After the deadline providers who expressed interest will be provided information about next steps of the tender process.

Family Link Worker Service

The Family Link Worker Service is one element of additional support, made available to Lead Practitioners in Dorset Council’s Family Help teams and external Early Support partners who are supporting families in need, within the community. The Family Link Worker service provides intensive, hands-on support to families in their homes. A Preliminary Market Engagement Event was held on 09 July 2025 in relation to this procurement. This is an open procedure in accordance with section 20(1) and (2)(a) of the Procurement Act 2023. The procedure does not allow for refining of the award criteria, and there is no scope to negotiate. This new Service is designed to provide Information, Advice and Guidance to residents interested in utilising Direct Payments and how they can spend them to meet their assessed needs. This service will be an essential element in achieving the Councils aim of increasing the number of people using a Direct Payment. Residents who are classified as a 'Self-Funder' will not be supported by this Commission unlike the previous 'Arrangement of Care' service. This is a service that will support both Children and Adult direct payment recipients of any age and does not include Personal Health Budgets.
