Description

The Authority is seeking to establish a framework agreement for the provision of specialist equipment for installation in Service Users homes, including servicing and repairs.  The Authority may request the Supplier to remove, re-install and/or repair equipment that is out of warranty as additional services. This will cover all tenure types within the Wakefield district and could be funded directly through the Authority or by a DFG available to a Service User.

The Framework will be split into 6 Lots: 

•   Lot 1 - Stairlifts (straight and curved)
•   Lot 2 - Ceiling Track Hoists
•   Lot 3 - Steplifts (up to 1 metre in travel and up to 2 metres in travel)
•   Lot 4 - Through Floor Lifts (hydraulic, traction, side hung and enclosed)
•   Lot 5 - Service & Maintenance of hoists out of manufacturer's warranty - Council owned and/or Service User owned  that require LOLER inspections where necessary to support a care package
•   Lot 6 - Service & Maintenance of lifts out of manufacturer's warranty - Council owned and/or Service User owned that require LOLER inspections where necessary to support a care package
