Description

Birmingham City Council is carrying out a high value quotation exercise for the provision of an anaerobic waste processor to dispose of commercial food waste, inviting tenders from all interested suppliers. New government legislation (the Environment Act 2021) requires the Council to offer a separate food recycling collection and to meet this requirement Birmingham City Council's Trade Waste Services will be introducing a new commercial food waste collection service for all its new and existing customers. The Council will enter into a contract with the preferred supplier under Birmingham City Council's standard terms and conditions of contract.

Additional information: BCC will be using its e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this high value quotation exercise and providers must register with the system to be able to express an interest. The web address is: https://in-tendhost.co.uk/birminghamcc
